About the designer
Jeenie Lim, the creative force behind Vasa New York, draws inspiration from a rich tapestry of experiences. Raised by a florist mother and a renowned abstract painter grandfather, Jeenie's artistic sensibilities were nurtured from a young age. Her studies in fine art with a focus on nature further fueled her passion for design. Jeenie then honed her craft at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. After graduating from FIT, she spent five years as a fashion jewelry designer for the leading company, Miriam Haskell. Jeenie furthered her education with a Master's degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute.
In August 2010, She launched her own fine jewelry line, vasa new york. Her unique approach to wearable jewelry has garnered recognition, with Vasa pieces gracing the pages of Cosmopolitan, Lucky, and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Jeenie's signature style combines a love for organic beauty with meticulous craftsmanship, resulting in jewelry that is both stunning and wearable.
